My dad normally knew how to sidestep a ‘snapper’ being a young journalist in ’62 and progressed from there to become editor of the Irish Independent in 1981. He obviously felt this was a moment to savior having gladly relinquished the ticket for the black and white photo you see. A classic moment in time. ”
