Liam Smith (my uncle) on the left (died tragically and suddenly a couple of years after this photo was taken from a brain Aneurism) (he was involved in the Dublin Red Cross and there was a massive turn out for his funeral, buried in colmcilles cemetery swords) Charlie fitzsimons on the right, still alive and kicking into his 80’s both men grew up in Cloghran beside Dublin Airport and were good pals. ”
