“My first trip to Dublin with my late Mother in 1955. My name is Kay (McDonnell) Howard and my Mother (Mary McDonnell) from Hollywood, Ballyboughal, Co. Dublin.
I can still remember the type of biscuits that are in that bag I am holding, Mother bought for me and the coat that I am wearing, well my Mother made it too.
I still don’t know how I was the one brought to Dublin on that day because I had two more sisters and three brothers. I must have been very good!!!
