“My wonderful mam Isabella Horrigan Jolley in 1939, with my sister May Jolley Wheeler, aged six. May is now 82 years young. The baby in pram was my sister Honora who passed away when she was just three years old. She was buried in a paupers’ grave in Glasnevin which she shares with two other people. Last year I found her grave in St Patrick’s Plot, not far from my parents Isabella and William’s family grave.”
