“This is Tommy Dooley and the lady is his wife Brigid (nee Kinsella). I’m not sure if they were married at the time. I’d say the pic was taken during the 40’s or 50’s. She was my fathers sister and after my father died they rared me in a very loving household. I was a lucky boy!
Tommy worked for many years in the Irish Independent newspaper in an office at the Princes St entrance beside the GPO. I think that his job title was circulation manager. When they got married they lived in Shandon Gdns in Phisbory Dublin. The picture has a reference no S10061 written on the back. I’d imagine that the number is a Field reference no. possibly written by Arthur’s wife ”
