“I was 20 years old when this photo was taken. It was my first time in Ireland (I had just come over from Liverpool). I’m the one on the left. The one in the middle was Dorothy and the one on the right was Monica. They were my best friends. This photo is important to me as I met a man from Tipperary on this trip and as of next July we will have been married 57 years.”
