“Mary Curran (nee Doherty) and my brother Brian Doherty. We were 22 and 19 , I was starting my mid wifery training in the Rotunda Hospital and my mother Brian was emigrating to Chicago – getting the train to Shannon and a flight to Chicago touching down in New Foundland for refueling. He since married and raised a family and start a life in Chicago. I live in Dublin.”
