“My mother, Margaret O’Halloran (née Thomas), and myself, aged four, August 1954. When the photo arrived to our home in Swords my mother spent some time explaining to me that the boy in the photo was me. She asked me what I thought of him; to her great hilarity I replied that he was okay but he was wearing my suit. The story has been repeated many times.”
