“Me, my father, Tom, and sister Ter on the way to Croke Park in September 1953 to see the All-Ireland hurling final between Cork and Galway. The streets were thronged with the match-day crowd. This was my first All-Ireland and I have fond memories of the day out with my family and seeing my father’s native Cork win.”
