“My parents, Brendan Shaw and Noreen O’Callaghan got married in Limerick on 29 December 1945. They went by train to Dublin on their honeymoon. This photo was taken in O’Connell Street, Dublin of them. I am not sure if it was taken by Arthur Field. There is no name on the back of the photo, only a number written in pencil – 07877. Because of the war years, they had only one official wedding photograph taken in a studio in Limerick, so this Dublin photo is very precious to me.
