“My parents, Bob Keogh and Mary Cahill, before they married in 1958. Dad worked in Lee Brothers Tailoring in Abbey Street, beside the then offices of Independent Newspapers. He had a half day on Saturdays and he met Mam after work and had the photo taken then. He had his bike because he cycled into work every day from Terenure. They were members of the Orwell Wheelers cycle club and that’s where they met. Of course, he gave her a crossbar lift home to Donnybrook later that night!”
