“The photo is of my father, Frank Mc Allister of Fortfield Terrace, Upper Rathmines. It’s such a youthful and lively photo of a man who was 55 when I was born and always seemed old to me. I will be 55 this year. Here he looks a real man-about -town, lithe and athletic. There are very few photos of my father in existence and this is the only one of him as a young man. I’m not sure of the date. My Dad was born in 1905. Can you verify by the code on the side ?”
