“These girls from Drogheda worked together in the Morco (Sewing) Factory in Drogheda and were in Dublin to watch Louth playing in Croke Park. They actually travelled to Dublin early so as they could have their picture taken on O’Connell Bridge. They are from left to right My mother Frances Leonard, Margaret Mullen, Martha Quinn, Mary Maguire and Martha Heeney – My Mother is about 16 and was born in 1934.”
