“My Parents: Patricia Branagan of Bridge Street (and later Bluebell) and John Byrne of Downpatrick Road, Crumlin before they were married in late 1952 (approx.) Dad went to Sheffield for over a year and they were married when he came back. Both are still alive (thank God). They remember this photo being taken – Mam says her coat was a pink check and Dad was just over pleurisy. Everyone remembers the Man on the Bridge but we didn’t always have the money to get the photos, wish we did now. ”
