“This is a photograph of my late father John F Parkinson, taken when he was about 22 yrs of age, in 1960. Born in Liverpool of Irish Parents, he was a frequent visitor to Ireland. He was working as an Engineer with Irish Shipping at the time this photograph was taken. Sadly we will never know if the photo was taken by Arthur Fields as my father died in a car accident in 1980 at the age of 42 yrs. The photo has the number x22 on the back.”
