“In the photo center is myself and my then girlfriend Bernadette, now my wife of 36 years and mother to our five adult children. The two single gentlemen are my two house/flat mates at that time and the couple to my right are very good friends of mine who were visiting us in Dublin for the weekend at that time also.i was twenty two years old and my wife was eighteen. I love this photo as it returns us to our courtship days, but also it reminds us of a period in our lives when living was not commercial. The dress science of the period reflects the financial struggles of its time. ”
