“My suave looking grandfather Garrett Byrne! I’m guessing it was taken sometime in the 50’s. He was probably on a business trip or visiting someone, and had travelled up that day from the village of Bree, near Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. It has always puzzled me who the photographer was that took this unbelievable picture, and I’m really grateful for it’s existence as sadly, my grandfather had passed away before I was born. So Thank you Mr. Fields!”
