They all worked together in the Castle Hosiery, Blackhall Place,Dublin 7. The photo was taken in 1964. They were on their way to the pictures at the Savoy on O’Connell Street. They always went to
the pictures on a Wednesday night and to the Metropole (in the picture behind them) at the weekends. They went on holiday every year and travelled all over Europe together. Over fifty years later they still go out together for a meal every month and once a year they still go on holiday together.”
