“My father, on the right, Walter Farrell and his uncle Willie McGarvey. Willie was originally from Donegal and had worked on the trams in Dublin before leaving to work in the Shipyards in Glasgow. Dad was working in the Rotunda cinema around this time, before joining CIE as a conductor and then a Driver. Cant be sure of the exact date but was during the war years.”
