“My parents Patrick English (b. 1909) and Mary Stringer (b. 1913) met in 1931 and married in 1938. Photo taken on O’Connell Bridge in 1933 when they were a courting couple. My Mum was ailing at the time but thankfully recovered and went on to have 5 children.”
