“Photo taken of Eileen & Jimmy Kirwan, (my parents) in 1948 with the GPO in the background. This is very special photo as my father had just got out of hospital and they were going for the bus home. He was only allowed to have a moustache in hospital and it had to be shaved off when he got home. This is one of the few photos of my parents together.
