“This is a photo of my Aunt Mary Higgins on the right with her friend Ann Farrell on O’Connell Bridge in July 1967 when they were 16. This photo is special to me as Mary used to bring me, my sisters, brother & cousins into town to visit such places as The Dolls Musuem, St Audeons, Dublinia and a shop off Grafton Street, I think it was on St Anne Street where a bell used to tinkle when the door opened which I fascinated with as a small child. I can still hear the squeak of the wooden floors in the Natural History Museum another place of wonder Mary brought us to! ”
