“this is my Grandmother Angela Lynch and her son Johnny. The photo belongs to my 92 year old mum and she thinks her brother Johnny had gotten his confirmation and was brought to Dublin. He was born in 1924 and she thinks he is 12 in this photo. We are not sure if it was taken by Arthur Fields but some of the photos in your gallery are taken on this exact spot. Our family have looked at this photo over the years and wondered what our uncle has in his little suitcase!!”
