“This is a photo of my father Tom Ruane and his sister Mary Ruane (nee Coyle). He was up from Mayo for a Brain Scan which revealved he had a Brain Tumour This photo was taken before his operation of which his prognosis was not very good. However he was the first to survive this particular type of invasive brain surgery carrie out by Dr P Carey in Richmond Hospital.”
