“My dad, John Nolan, my sister Caroline (on the left), and myself. We were from Walkinstown. My dad was either a barman or on the boats at this point, and it was very rare that he got a day off. So when we had quality time with him, we cherished it. He was a hard worker, all his life, and is still working hard. This is a photo I keep in my handbag and take it everywhere. ”
