“Myself (Michael Duffy) on the left with old school chum John King. This photo was taken on Friday 29th Feb 1980 – John had gone to work with the Civil Service in Dublin whereas I worked for Local Government in Dundalk (our hometown). On this evening I took the train to Dublin to meet up with John for a few?? drinks (as accounts for my rather dishevelled appearance). I saw the documentary on Arthur Fields last night and decided to dig out this photo he took of us way back then. ”
