“Home on holidays from Manchester in post-war England. Our grandmother Ellen and grandfather Jack Brennan pushing their youngest son, David. Their other son, John, is walking beside them. My mother, Pat, and her sister, Jean, can be seen in the background. The family always holidayed in Ireland and it was on one of those holidays that my mum met my dad.”
