“My beloved Mam, Bridie Doyle nee Owens, and my well-loved aunt, Teresa Kenny nee Owens, pictured sometime in the 1940s. They were from KIltegan Co Wicklow. Teresa was working for a lovely family called Cohen in Terenure and Mam was working in Naas. She would come up on her days off and stay with Teresa. Allegedly the paper bag is full of sandwiches and cakes they were given after the Cohens had a party!”
