“Christmas 1956 and my mother took both my younger sister Joan (in arms) and me to see Santa with an old friend of hers, Ailish Fullerton with her two daughters, Patricia and Philomena. I don’t know who the other lady is with the child looking away from the camera! The Fullertons emigrated to New York the following year I think.”
