“The photo (sorry about the
condition) is of my late Mum and Dad, Eileen and Victor Taylor. I remember it being said that this was taken on the day they were engaged. Not sure about that but, owning to how organised my dad was it is written on the back that it was taken 1st August 1942. They married ’45. There is a pencil ref no on the back 6873.
I used to look at this phot when I was a kid and also their wedding photos,
not realising that i was looking at my future son!!! He is 20 now (dad almost 22 in this pic) and the utter image of his Grandad in not just looks even!
