“a picture of my granny taken on 12 September 1944. It was taken on her honeymoon in Dublin with my grandad. Their wedding was the day before and they travelled up to Dublin for the night as their honeymoon. This is the only picture of their wedding! My grandad left for London later that day and my granny returned to Effin in Limerick. I imagine your grandad took the picture as I can’t imagine there was loads of competition back then (I could be wrong!). We have the original photo if you needed a better copy. Please acknowledge safe receipt and best of luck with your project.”
