“Myself and my fiancée, Christine Ryan. I’m smoking a Moroccan cheroot, which came wrapped in paper and in a triangular box. They were very cool at the time. The vinyl is probably an album by Weather Report, a jazz combo I was really into. I had spent some time in Switzerland and London so I thought I was extra-cool. My fiancée did window displays for a lot of shops in Dublin and London, which at the time was a big deal, and she was very talented at it.”
